青海师范大学人文学院,青海西宁810008摘 要:在当代的文学研究中,女性主义文学批评可谓异军突起,为古今中外文学作品中女性形象的解读提供了一个全新的视角。在女性主义文学批评者的眼里看来,在中外文学中,女性作为一个具有审美主体性的生存个体,却被塑造成主体属性缺失的“天使”或“妖妇”,这是男权话语对女性实施客体化、物化的一种叙事策略。本文正是立足于这一学术视角,试图对简爱形象作一梳理和辨析,在充分论证简爱既不是“天使”也非“妖妇”的基础上,为简爱是“人”的形象之还原作一定位。[著者文摘] 关键词:女性主义 男权话语 叙事策略 Image Between the Angel and the Wicked Woman ——Explanation of Feminism of the Character of Jane EyreFAN Jing-lan The humanities college of Qinghai Normal University, Xining 810008, ChinaAbstract:In contemporary literary research, feminist literary criticism is a key component. It provides a new angle of analysis of literature and of feminist images in literary works from all countries. Feminist literary criticism finds that women exist in literature as individuals with esthetic main bodies but are portrayed as ei- ther ＂an angel＂ or ＂wicked woman＂. They have no characteristics outside of these two roles. Portraying women as either ＂angel＂ or ＂wicked woman＂ is one kind of narrative strategy used by males to objectify fe- males. This article uses this academic angle to analyze the character of Jane Eyre in Charlotte Bronte＇ s novel ＂Jane Eyre＂. The female character of Jane Eyre is portrayed as neither ＂angel＂ nor ＂wicked woman＂, rather, she is portrayed as a person.
